Blaine
Fowler---yes, the Blaine Fowler of the BFE (The Blaine Fowler
Experience)- is by day, a morning DJ on 96.3 WDVD in Detroit.
By late afternoon, early evening-ish, he's a morning DJ with a
rockin' band...THE BFE!!!!!!!!!!!
Blaine comes from the mythical beast that is Michigan's Upper
Peninsula, or as one out of stater called it, "the northern
peninsula". Growing up in Sault Ste. Marie, Blaine learned to
rock hard and often as the drummer of the great band, MACKATRAZ.
Later going on to play in WAITRESS WANTED. These bands defined
an error, or an era, in Upper Peninsula Rock that can never be
replicated.
After the ugly demise of WAITRESS WANTED (Behind The Music
feature coming soon) Blaine became a lead guitarist for his own
little band. In fact, this band includes Blaine on guitar,
drums, bass, keyboards, and sadly, lead vocals. Purely a studio
experience, but nonetheless, a Blaine Fowler Experience indeed!
With the beat of Matt, his neighbor drummer, and the musical
genius of Ron The Former Intern, Blaine has fused the elements
of Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Zeppelin, Britney, and some other
dudes to create THE BFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The BFE is gonna rock the D...and beyond!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ron
grew up in the wastelands known as Lansing. With his bands such
as "RoadKill" and "GagBall" going nowhere and growing tired of
cruddy restaurant jobs, cows and endless boredom he fled to the
"D" looking to save himself and have a helluva good time in the
process.
Ron met Blaine at a karaoke bar where Blaine did a killer
version of Aqua's hit "Barbie girl". The next day when Blaine's
wife bailed both of them out of Oakland county lock up the two
teamed up with Matt to form the rock sensation known as the BFE.

Straight
from the corn fields of Indiana, this Boilermaker made his way
up to the “D” in late ’95. But let me take you back a bit to
where this rock star cut his teeth – rocking out Quiet Riot
(come on you listened to “Come on feel the noise” too) in my
bedroom with the drum riser and strobe lights flickering. While
Tommy Lee graced the walls with “The Crue”, I had my eyes set on
the big time with my first band – 7 Day Storm! With a spin-off
band “Mr. Completely” (pronounced ‘missed her completely’ -
limited bootlegs available $1,000 each), I truly had achieved
the multi-platinum success that I had strived for. Well not
really..... more like just multi-unit sales of a lofty 46 tapes.
Now jump forward a few years …. moving to “D” was
the best thing that every to this here rock star. While taking
up residence at the local rock joints (St. Andrews, Harpos, and
The Ritz in Roseville), I was in search of some perfect rock
star cohorts. Who knew that it would take a move the “burbs” and
a neighbor that just happens to be THE Blaine Fowler of WDVD
fame to put this band together. Let the journey begin …. BFE
rocks the “D”!!!!!!!
